This is a live protocol log — not a finished review. I update it as the cycle runs. If you're reading this, the protocol is active. Come back in 8 weeks for the full outcome data.

Why Peptides

OC1 racing and trail running create repetitive loading stress on connective tissue — tendons, ligaments, fascia. Standard recovery (sleep, protein, sauna) addresses muscle tissue well. Connective tissue repair is slower and responds differently. BPC-157 and TB-500 are the most studied repair peptides for this use case.

Protocol Design

BPC-157 at 250mcg subcutaneous daily, timed near training. TB-500 at 5mg twice weekly for the first four weeks, then taper to 2.5mg weekly as maintenance. Collagen peptides (15g, oral) taken with Vitamin C 30 minutes pre-training to support collagen synthesis during mechanical loading.

Tracking Metrics

  • Tendon pain score (0-10) at target sites — tracked weekly
  • HRV baseline (Oura ring, morning measurement)
  • Training load tolerance — sessions per week at target intensity
  • Subjective recovery quality (1-5 scale, post-session)
